Random avatars for donators

Proposed by Qwerty

Relates to Donations: seven services, one stream of events

Every donator gets their own randomly generated avatar (saved by nickname) — a little human, animal, or alien. Different ears, hats, heads, eyes, bodies, arms, and 2-4 legs. Different colors. The ability to change your avatar for a specific donation amount — for example, a crown on the head for 9999 RUB, or a rainbow color for 333 RUB. When a donation is made, a speech bubble with the donation text appears above this avatar.

Developer's reply

We can give every donator their own character that appears during a donation with a message in a speech bubble and keeps their appearance between streams. It's not necessary to use AI for this: characters can be randomly assembled from pre-made bodies, eyes, ears, and accessories, with some fun animations added.

I would also add a collection of earned items: a new crown replaces the hat on the head, but the hat itself doesn't disappear. The streamer can set the amounts for accessories, recoloring, and full character changes themselves. We can start with them appearing just for the duration of the donation and leave the permanent presence of characters on screen as a future expansion.

There is a nuance regarding saving by nickname: another person could send a donation with the same name. Therefore, where the service allows for reliable identification of the sender, we should link the character to them. If only the nickname is available, it will be a shared character for that name on a specific platform, with no guarantee that the donations are being sent by the same person.
