What this page is

Settings → strAImer Account signs you in to the account the AI features need — and to the cloud half of the app: cloud snapshots, the streamer page, posting or voting on an idea and writing to support all ask you to be signed in, though none of them costs anything. Everything that runs on your own computer works with no account at all.

Money never changes hands inside the app: buying, changing and cancelling a plan happen in the browser at straimer.com/app, and this page has a single button that takes you there. The balance itself is shown in the app.

What costs money

Only the AI costs money. Everything that runs on the streamer's own computer is free and stays free, with no account required: platform connectors, overlays, alerts, the chat widget, the control panel, scenarios, chat commands, chat timers, statistics, the auction, the module catalog, the text-to-speech voice and speech recognition itself. None of that is limited by a plan.

The line to watch is not the feature but the switch inside it that reaches for the AI. A chat timer is free; the AI chip on one of its messages rephrases that message through the model every time it is sent, and that is charged. The same shape appears elsewhere — a free page with one paid switch on it — and in every case the switch is off until you turn it on.

A credit is the unit the AI is billed in. It is not a message and not a token — it is a share of what the model provider charges us, with a markup. One credit covers $0.0008 of provider cost, and what gets charged is what the call really cost, not a fixed price per answer.

What spends credits

• An AI reply — a minimum of 1 credit, and above that whatever the call cost. The model picker labels every model with the price of a typical answer: 1 credit on most of them and up to 6 on the dearest. A long conversation costs more than a short one, and the ceiling for a single request rises with the plan.
• A voice command — two calls rather than one: a cheap step that works out what you said, then the answer itself. Every action in Chat Bot → Voice control carries its own price, shown on its card for the model you picked — switching a scene is 2 credits on the cheapest model and 13 on the dearest.
• A web search — a flat 10 credits.
• A question to the assistant — open Help & Feedback → Help and its AI Assistant tab. The first ten questions in a day cost nothing; after that an answer is usually 2 credits.
• Importing a channel page into the agent's knowledge base — one call on the model you picked, from 1 credit to about 25. The price is printed next to the button.

Free either way: checking for updates, the module catalog, restoring a cloud snapshot, and writing to a human in support. The last two cost nothing but still need you signed in; the first two work without an account.

Signing in and paying

1. Open Settings → strAImer Account and press Sign in with Twitch or Sign in with Google. Both lead to the same account, the second one can be linked later on the same page, and the application key is issued automatically.
2. The balance then sits in the bottom left of the app under AI CREDITS, with the FREE / LITE / PRO / ULTRA row right below it. That block can be switched off — AI credits and plans in the sidebar in Settings → Interface — and the same number is printed on the account page next to your name either way.
3. Plans and balance opens straimer.com/app in your browser on the Plan and credits tab. Buying, changing and cancelling happen only there — there is nowhere in the app to enter a card.
4. To subscribe, pick Currency, Billing period and Pay with, then press the plan you want next to Change plan. The payment itself is handled by Lava.top.
5. To stop paying, press Turn off auto-renewal in the Subscription card. The plan keeps working until the end of the period already paid for.
6. Credit history on the same tab lists every allocation and every charge by name.

The plans

A longer billing period is cheaper per month — a year costs ten months — and the credits for the whole period arrive at once: an annual Lite gets 16 800 at payment, and as many again at each renewal.

Plans differ beyond the credit count: how much conversation the AI holds at once, how long its answers may be, how many requests a minute are allowed (10 on Free, 60 on Ultra), and how much cloud snapshot storage is included — Free has none, see the guide "Backup". The premium models need Lite or above; the budget and standard ones are open on Free. A model does not get weaker on a cheaper plan — what the plan changes is those limits: on Free an answer is cut at about a quarter of the Ultra length, and about a sixth as much conversation is held at once.

"Out of credits" while credits are still showing

The check happens before the request and assumes the worst case — the price of an answer if the model fills it to the maximum length allowed by the plan. So the refusal arrives a little before the balance actually reaches zero. This is deliberate: otherwise two credits could order an answer worth fifty.

A stream does not break when credits run out. The AI, web search and — past its ten free questions a day — the help assistant go quiet. Alerts, chat, overlays, OBS control, goals and the voice-over keep running, and writing to a human in support stays free on any balance.

When a subscription ends

A failed payment moves the subscription to Awaiting payment, and the AI keeps working for seven more days. After that the account drops to Free.

On that drop, unspent subscription credits are cleared and the free hundred is granted instead. Whatever sits in the Permanent part of the balance — a referral bonus, for instance — is not touched and never expires.

Carry-over between periods works the same way: a paid quota is added to what is left, while the free one replaces it, so a year of not using the app does not build up a pile of free credits.

Cloud snapshots outlive the drop for a while — statistics are stripped from them after 30 days and the snapshot itself is deleted after a year, with a warning 30 days ahead. The guide "Backup" has the detail.

What it cannot do

There is no way to use your own OpenAI or OpenRouter key. The AI is reached through our server, which is the only place the spending can be counted.

strAImer does not generate pictures, music or video. Credits pay for text answers, voice actions, web searches and the help assistant.

Credit packs cannot be bought on their own — credits arrive with a plan or as a partner bonus.

A plan cannot be swapped in the middle of a paid period. A second purchase is refused while the first subscription is live: turn off auto-renewal, wait for the period to end, then buy the other plan.
